	JANET L. KING, a founding partner of the firm, is an AV rated lawyer with more than 31 years of experience, focusing her practice on corporate and business transactions.  She represents mid-sized and small businesses, including business owners, non-profit organizations, health care providers and women-owned and minority-owned businesses in a wide variety of matters, including acquisitions, mergers, conversions, formation, entity governance, shareholder agreements, asset preservation planning, management succession planning, estate planning and employment.  Ms. King is also a certified mediator. EILEEN E. SOMMER, a founding partner of the firm, is an AV rated lawyer with more than 30 years of legal experience, focuses her practice on real estate, finance, general business, wills and estates.  She represents clients in matters involving the acquisition, sale, financing, development, and leasing of commercial real estate, the documentation and negotiation of various commercial financing transactions, loan workouts, and the exercise of loan security remedies such as real property and personal property foreclosures, the preparation and negotiation of various business contracts, the preparation of wills, and estate administration.

	DANIEL G. EASLEY, of counsel to the firm, is an AV rated lawyer with more than 30 years of legal experience and holds a Masters of Taxation Law (LLM), focusing his practice on general corporate matters and transactional tax matters related to domestic and international federal income taxation.  He represents clients in acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations, spin-offs, recapitalizations, family wealth planning, partnerships, structured financings, corporate and project financings, oil and gas transactions, real estate transactions, venture capital, hedge and leveraged buyout funds, ruling requests and tax controversies.
SENIOR ASSOCIATES
	MURRAY H. VAN EMAN, senior associate, has over 9 years of legal experience, focusing his practice on general corporate matters, real estate, business transactions, campaign finance, and lobby law compliance. He represents clients in matters involving entity selection, formation and governance, employment matters (management), general corporate, litigation management for small businesses without in-house counsel, real estate development (including land entitlement advice), and legal compliance issues for political action committees and lobbyists.  He is also licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia as well as the State of Texas.    SHELLEY P. MORKOVSKY, senior associate, has practiced law for over 11 years, focusing her practice on real estate and finance law.  She has in-depth experience representing business entities and individuals in a wide range of real estate and finance transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of documentation for the financing of commercial real estate transactions, real property acquisitions and dispositions, office, retail, industrial and residential leasing, foreclosures of real and personal property collateral, land use and zoning, economic development projects, the transfer of oil & gas interests, and other matters affecting real and personal property interests.  Ms. Morkovsky is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Commercial Real Estate Law.
